Founded in San Francisco more than 49 years ago, T.Y. Lin International (TYLI) has established itself as an internationally recognized civil and structural engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction engineering/inspection of transportation infrastructure.

Operating from offices throughout the United States and Asia, the professional staff of more than 800 engineers, planners, and scientists delivers project-specific solutions. The company was recently ranked by Engineering News-Record as the eighth largest bridge design firm.
The company has won awards for virtually all bridge types, including cable-stayed, suspension, box girder, segmental, arch, truss and bascule. It has been involved in either the design and/or construction of two-thirds of all long-span segmental concrete girder bridges and one-half of the long-span cable-stayed bridges in North America.
Based in San Francisco, T.Y. Lin International also provides seismic analysis and retrofit design of bridge structures.

Moffatt & Nichol Engineers of Los Angeles is a leading multidiscipline engineering firm providing integrated services from concept through planning and design to construction support for a diverse array of projects.
Founded n 1945 by John Moffatt and Frank Nichol, Long Beach-based Moffatt & Nichol Engineers work on ports and harbors, marinas and urban waterfronts, coastal and shore protection, highways and bridges, airports, rail and transit and environmental and hydraulic projects.
Moffatt & Nichol served as chief engineers and general managers for the construction of the Long Beach Naval Station/Shipyard, Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station, Port Hueneme Naval Construction Battalion Center and other southern California waterfront facilities.
The company is based in Long Beach and has offices on both the west and east coasts. Moffatt & Nichol has also worked in more than 50 countries.
